Mechanical Design Engineer

  • Position Title: Mechanical Design Engineer
  • Location: 100% Remote
  • Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing mechanical systems ensuring accurate and efficient project execution. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including engineers, project manager to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Model Development: Create, modify, and manage detailed Revit model for mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, piping, etc.) in line with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure mechanical designs are integrated and clash-free within the overall model.
  • Design Review: Analyze mechanical designs and models for accuracy, quality, and adherence to project specifications. Provide technical guidance and recommendations for design improvements.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, schedules, and technical documentation.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular model audits and reviews to ensure compliance with company standards, industry codes, and client requirements.
  • Project Management Support: Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project progress.
  • Specifications: Develop project specifications, detailing requirements and standards for implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
  • Experience: Up to 2 years of design engineering experience, with a focus on MEP projects and proficiency in Revit.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve design and coordination issues within the environment.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to diverse stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous with a strong focus on accuracy and quality in modeling and documentation.

Revit MEP Designer

  • Position Title: Revit MEP Designer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Revit Designer to join our team, responsible for creating and managing models for various construction projects. The ideal candidate will be proficient in developing detailed and accurate models that contribute to the overall success of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Model Creation: Develop, modify, and manage models for MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) systems using Revit.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to integrate and coordinate models across disciplines, ensuring a cohesive and clash-free design.
  • Documentation: Extract and produce construction documents, including plans, sections, elevations, and details directly.
  • Clash Detection: Conduct clash detection and coordination reviews and resolve any issues identified in collaboration with the design team.
  • Standards Compliance: Ensure that all models adhere to company and project-specific standards, protocols, and guidelines.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and organized model data, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accessible to relevant team members.
  • Project Support: Assist project managers and engineers in the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of projects.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma holders or relevant education
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a BIM Designer
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in Revit
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP systems, with the ability to interpret and create detailed construction drawings.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing project requirements.
